Diane Williams
Board Member

Diane Williams was born a change maker; her first mission at age 7 included tearful pleas, thoughtful hand-written letters and the completion of extra chores to save the life a pig she named Calamity Jane. Almost 30 years later, she still stands up for others and her beliefs through passionate dialogue, impactful writing and meaningful actions.

Diane is a pediatric speech language pathologist for the Palm Beach County School District where she serves as a diagnostician in the Child Find department. In this role she is an integral part of a multi-disciplinary team that provides evaluation services for families of children with perceived special education needs. In this role she works alongside school psychologists, physical therapists, occupational therapists, case managers and other educationally relevant service providers to evaluate preschool aged children and then advocate for their early intervention services, when applicable, by making recommendations for placements and program within Palm Beach County School District’s Preschool Programs.

Diane is also an advocate for families in vulnerable communities around the world through her work as a Senior Ambassador with Noonday Collection. Noonday Collection is a socially responsible company who works directly with artisan groups to provide dignified and sustainable income for women escaping poverty, human trafficking, prostitution and financial enslavement in countries like Haiti, Ethiopia, India and Eastern China. Diane provides a marketplace for these artisans’ goods here in the United States through events and trunk shows. As a Senior Ambassador, she coaches other social entrepreneurs with Noonday Collection on harnessing the power of social selling and raising awareness of Noonday Collection’s presence and mission through community events, trunk shows and story-telling.

Prior to her work as a speech language pathologist and Noonday Collection Senior Ambassador, Diane earned a Master’s in Communication Sciences from Florida Atlantic University and a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from the University of South Florida.

When not evaluating children or hosting trunk shows, Diane enjoys the beautiful parks and beaches of Jupiter with her husband and French Bulldog. She volunteers with the Children’s Ministry and Hospitality group at Family Church Gardens where she is a member. She loves to work out early in the morning, listen to podcasts on her commute to work, attempt new Pinterest recipes and sip coffee on her front porch.
